SO GLAD ELISE CAME OUT OF HER SHELL...I THINK HER ADOPTIVE PARENTS HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT!

A couple weeks ago my wife and I drove up from Cincinnati and adopted Elise, one of your kittens.  Wanted to give you an update.

In the room with the mother and other kittens, Elise was one of the more timid kittens.  It took a couple days playing with her with string toys, but she has become such an active wildly playful tyke, we couldn't be happier.  She never purred for us in the shelter, but now can keep me awake at night if she starts purring by my pillow.

We will continue to keep her confined to the bedroom for the immediate future as our senior cat isn't crazy about her, and when we let her out she is so focused on exploring that it can be hard to corral her.

Thank you again for trusting us so distant from your shelter and for allowing us to adopt this marvelous kitten.  I hope all your other adoptions turn out equally well.

PLEASE HELP.

Mac, a handsome English mastiff, was chained up in the snow, slowly starving after his owners moved away without him. The dog warden rescued Mac, and the Clinton County Humane Society cared for him and found him a loving home, where he's being pampered and nursed back to health after emergency stomach surgery. Care for giant breeds is costly, and Mac's surgery was expensive. CCHS relies solely on donations to fund its shelter operations, so please consider sending a monetary donation to help with Mac's surgery to CCHS, P.O. Box 1024, Wilmington OH 45177. Thank you!

SUNNI LOOKS VERY HAPPY WITH HER NEW FAMILY AND HOME. THANK YOU FOR GIVING HER A WONDERFUL LIFE!

We adopted Sunni last September 19th. We figure she is one year old now. She is such a wonderful dog. She has been a great addition to our household. She is a very loving and playful dog. She loves playing outside and chasing squirrels and the occasional deer. I thought I would pass on a few pictures of her now that she is all grown up. Thank you again for rescuing her and letting us adopt her.

WE ARE GLAD YOU ADOPTED HER, TOO! WHAT FUN IT MUST BE TO WATCH THEM INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER. THANK YOU.

Bindi is a happy addition to our family.  I'm attaching a picture of her laying with one of our labrador retrievers on HIS pillow.  She's loves the big dogs.  We did have her groomed. her hair was matted and the groomer trimmed her hair shorter than we'd planned out of necessity....the "poodle" part of her is evident right now.  She's a really sweet dog!  Glad we adopted her.

SHE SEEMS TO BE ENJOYING HER NEW LIFE. THANKS FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE FOR NORAH!

Hi Becky and Patti,
I wanted to give you an update on Miss Thelma...now known as Norah.  She is adapting very well to her new house and loves her new playmates :)  She was very shy at first, but in the last week or so, has really started to show her little personality.  We had a fence put in last week and both dogs are loving it....they ran and played all night!  I attached some pictures for you...
Thanks so much for rescuing her....she is a joyful addition to our household :)

WHAT A CUTE LITTLE FACE! AND WHAT A GREAT FAMILY AND HOME. THANK YOU.

Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful addition to our family.  We did change her name to Casey, she is adjusting nicely and already runs the whole house.   We are all suckers for that cute little face and she knows it already.  :)

LOOKS AS IF PANDORA IS PRETTY HAPPY WITH HER NEW HOME. THANKS FOR GIVING HER A WONDERFUL HOME.

Hi Becky,

Wanted to let you know Pandora is doing great! She is very smart, already learned how to go through the doggie door very quickly. She hangs around myself and my dogs all the time, and it's fun watching her learn new expieriences. She's still scared of the horses and goats, but will figure them out soon. I stopped by the vet on my way home yesterday and got her rabies shot. I'm so thankful to have her, she's a perfect fit. :)

WHAT A SWEETHEART! BAXTER HAS A GREAT PLACE TO SLEEP!

We are having a lot of fun with Carl (now named Baxter). He is settling in. He is very alert and active, but will settle down and curl up for a nap in your lap too! He makes his own obstacle course in our living room sliding under the things.

Here is a picture of him sitting on Steve's lap. He is fitting in. He's keeping us all on our toes!

HACHI HAS A WONDERFUL NEW FAMILY, HOME AND PLAYMATE. THANK YOU.

Hi,

We just would like to say thank you for helping us to meet our wonderful new family member Hachi! (used to be Chandler)
Hachi already made himself comfortable at his new home with the help of our another wonderful rescued dog name Skip.

We lost our very much loved 14 years old dog around Christmas time last year and we all tried to fill out the huge gap in our hearts in last several weeks.

Hachi certainly brought a light to everyone one of our family and smiles.

It is always amazing that all these precious lives can do for the humans and bring a lots of love instantly to their lives.

I only can appreciate all these special friends of ours and people who are dedicating to save their great lives.

Thank you again.

P.S. Our family and friends think Skip and Hachi are look a like! We believe these 2 are meant to be together :}

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE UPDATE ON ROSIE. THE TWO DO MAKE A BETTER THAN CUTE PAIR.

Good Morning Becky
I just wanted to give you guys an update on Miss Rosemary. We decided not to change her name and "Rosie" tends to be what she is called the most. She met her new vet, Dr. Schumacher, last week for a check up and there are no issues.  She weighed a healthy 9.6 Ibs. She and her new sister, Sweet Tea, are happy as clams in the sand together. You can see the love in the pictures. Rosie is a bit of a bed hog. Their names should be Yin and Yang because their personalities balance each other perfectly. Rosie thinks she's a lap dog and loves to cuddle, unfortunately, for her I think there will come a day when my lap will be too small for her. Her potty training has been a breeze because she took to the training pads without a hitch. She is setting a great example for Sweet Tea who is almost there. She is able to sleep through the night without any accidents in their kennel. I tried to separate them to give them their own space but they didn't want to be apart. She is such a puppy but is learning the house rules with very little effort. She is so smart! We are really looking forward to warmer weather because by then they'll have clearance to romp around the yard. That will really be a fun to watch.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO SACHI AND JENNIFER!

This is the girl I adopted in August, 2008 from your shelter. I wanted to drop you a line and tell you that she is amazingly sweet, smart, beautiful, and well loved. She lives with me in Brooklyn now, and goes most places with me. Tons of walking, as dogs are not permitted on the trains.
Sachi, (still her name) is one of the best gifts I've ever given to myself. She is wonderful company, tremendously affectionate, and the best road travel companion, ever.
The attached picture is her lounging in my boyfriend's art studio. Everyone adores this girl.
Thank you for helping me find her. She's my Valentine.
