YOU ARE RIGHT!. YOU ARE HANDSOME AND FULL OF FUN AND...JUST MAYBE A LITTLE 'BAD'. SO HAPPY YOU AND MOM ARE HAVING A WONDERFUL LIFE TOGETHER.

Hello Friends at the Clinton County Humane Society!

You know me as Edward.  I've been in my fur-ever home for a little over 6 months now and I love my new mommy and she loves me!  She named me "Tom Hanson"...after Johnny Depp's character on the '80s cop show 21 Jump Street.  It is a perfect name for me because I am extremely good looking with a heart of gold and a little bit of "bad boy" attitude! ;-)

I sleep in bed and snug on the couch with my new mom, but I still am as precocious and full of personality as I ever was.  I LOVE hopping up on the top of the couch and looking out the window.  And, when a suspicious vehicle drives by, I alert the house.  Watch out for me!

On my favorite days, my mom lets me play with toys.  She is very careful, as per Miss Nancy's instruction, that my brother and I get our own separate toys and that the toys are put away after toy time is over, so I don't get too aggressive.  But, there is rarely anything left of my toys to put away because I set out purposefully to rip the toy to shreds, pull out any stuffing and pierce the squeaking mechanism with my teeth.  Then I get disappointed when the toy stops squeaking.  Every time I do this, my mom vows that she will only buy me toys from the dollar store from now on.  Then she'll be shopping in a pet store and see expensive toys labeled as "indestructible" or "pierce resistant squeaker", or "the tuff-est dog toy on the market".  I always find a way to prove the labels on the expensive toys wrong...because I am a genius.

My mom took me to a meeting of the St. Louis Pekingese Club.  She was a little nervous that I might be too exciting for me, so she held me a little at first while I got used to everybody.  Then, when she put me down to meet everybody, I was a very good boy and everybody said they wanted me to come back!

Thank you to everybody, especially Miss Nancy, for taking care of me until I found my fur-ever home!

Tail Wags,
Tom Hanson f/k/a Edward

WHAT A WONDERFUL PRESENT FOR OUR ANIMALS! SUCH A KIND-HEARTED BIRTHDAY GIRL AND HER MOM. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR CARING.

Ten year old Isa asked her friends to bring supplies
for the Clinton County Humane Society instead of
giving her birthday presents.  How amazing
Is that!  Many thanks to Isa and her mother Julia for
their thoughtfulness
