Donations given in memory of family member

On February 6 the family of Teah Barr brought us much-needed donations in her memory. They’ve done so every year on her birthday since she passed away in 2020. πŸ’™

Before they went shopping, Teah’s family asked us what we currently needed — Dawn dish soap, 13- and 39-gallon bags, and paper towels — and brought us all of those things!

Thank you for donating to the Clinton County Humane Society!

'This little puff of fur is everything I had hoped for'

This is Obsidian, Obie for short. He was one of a litter of 10 kittens. Named Checkers at the shelter, he was super-shy and quick to hiss. But he landed in the best home for him, where his sweet personality can shine!

Obie's people told us: "This little guy is something else! He doesn't stop purring, he follows me and my wife every place we go. Rubbing our legs with every step. He acclimated with the other animals perfectly. He and our big guy are best buddies. Not real fond of the dogs, though. He absolutely loves to eat! I've never seen a kitten so persistent. He will do any and everything to get food off your plate. We're working hard on this!

"This little puff of fur is everything I had hoped for. He comes when I call his name, jumps to the top of the cat tower as I walk by, to receive some loves. He even waits at the front door for my return and sleeps in our bed.

"We absolutely love Obie! Thank you for such a sweet little guy. He will always be taken care of.

"P.S.: His huge, fat tail gets almost as much love as his sweet little head! I've never seen a cat with a tail like his."

Thank you for adopting Obie from the Clinton County Humane Society!

Happy 1st birthday to Mosey!

Mosey was focused on the birthday "cake" a few days ago as his family celebrated his 1st birthday! Formerly named Huxley, Mosey was adopted as a pup back in May 2023.

His humans told us: "Thank you again for taking care of our boy and helping us with the adoption process. He’s now 55 pounds and healthy, loves being outside and playing. Thank you again for all the work you do!"

Thank you for adopting Mosey from the Clinton County Humane Society!

Bella and Spikey have become great friends

The little one is Bella, formerly known as Goldie. She was adopted recently, and her new family sent us this update:

"She is doing well! Catching on very quickly with all training. Her and Spikey have become great friends and get along most of the time! She is still learning how much is to much play with Spikey. Thank again for all your help!"

Thank you for adopting Bella from the Clinton County Humane Society!
