Huxley and the students who made the toys

Today students from Mr. Sodini’s class at East Clinton Middle School brought us dog toys they had made themselves from old T-shirts. They also spent time with adorable (and adoptable) Huxley the puppy, who behaved well with the students.

We are very thankful to the students and staff who thought to make something nice for our shelter dogs!

Kora loves digging in the dirt and chasing balls

A year ago today was the day Kora's family came to adopt her, so Happy Gotcha Day to Kora!

Her family says: "She's doing great and has grown up so much! A year old now and she's about 80 pounds!! Loves digging in the dirt, chasing balls, eating biscuits, and all the toys in her toy box. She's a lot of fun. We love her so much. Thank you for all you do!"

Thank YOU for adopting from the Clinton County Humane Society!

Thank you to the Veterinarians of Tomorrow Club

On April 30 the Veterinarians of Tomorrow Club at Wilmington College hosted a benefit dog walk that included some of our adult dogs and fully vaccinated puppies, who all had a great time getting exercise and socializing!

And the bonus is that the Veterinarians of Tomorrow Club will be sending us a check for $655 from the funds they raised!

We are so appreciative! Thank you to future vets! 🩺🐾 And thank you to everyone who organized and supported the event! We even got to see some of our dog alumni too.
