Handmade dog toys delivered by students

Thank you to East Clinton Middle School teacher and Project Trust Leadership Club advisor Alicia Gee and her students for making, donating, and delivering handmade dog toys to the shelter! They got to spend time with some animals while they were at the shelter on their last day of school before winter break.

Maylin made our doggies' day

Nine-year-old Maylin gathered all these helpful items, with assistance from Girl Scout Troop 3166, Tractor Supply Co., and Clinton-Massie Elementary School, and brought them to the shelter this week!

Maylin also brought treats for the dogs, which she and a few others made by hand. The dogs loved the peanut-butter goodies!

In addition, Maylin saved up $22 of her own money to purchase supplies for the Clinton County Humane Society, and we are very grateful! This is not the first time we have been the beneficiary of Maylin’s kind and generous heart.

Thank you to everyone who helped Maylin, including her mom and her little brothers, who did a lot of carrying! 😊
