Bear is 'a bundle of joy' for his new family

Bear was the last in his litter to be adopted, but he is happy he has a new big sister, Nina, to snuggle with in his forever home.

His owner said: "Wanted to send you some quick updates on Bear (now Milo — kept Bear as his middle name). Has become better at being housetrained, will scratch at the door when he needs out, loves playing with my other rescue (Nina who is 7) and cuddling with her.

"He does really well around other dogs and around people, I’ve taken him to a baseball and softball game so far. He has definitely been a bundle of joy."

Thank you for adopting Bear from the Clinton County Humane Society!

We are crying happy tears for Zeke

We are all so happy for this longtime shelter resident, who came to our shelter as a result of a divorce.

His family told us: "Zeke’s first day home has been full of snuggles and snoozing! Thank you guys so much!"

Zeke had been with us since September, and despite his stellar behavior, he had trouble being placed because he's super picky about his animal friends.

But our fantastic followers saw his post a week ago and shared it 121 times, getting it to the eyes of almost 5,000 people.

All it took was one awesome family to see the post, and that's what happened! Zeke was adopted Saturday, and as you can tell by these photos, he made himself at home that first day, making up for time lost waiting in the shelter.

We have the most generous supporters, and just taking a second to share a post can help more than you realize!

Thank you for adopting Zeke from the Clinton County Humane Society!

So happy for Tucker, who had been like Tigger

It's a little hard for our volunteers to recognize Chip being still — in the shelter, he could jump straight in the air like Tigger, over and over and over ...

But now, after more than 8 months waiting for a forever home, Tucker has been adopted by a previous adopter. ❤️

Tucker and his new doggie friend are doing AMAZING!

The adopter works from home, so Tucker has plenty of people time and a huge fenced-in yard to enjoy.

Thank you for adopting Tucker from the Clinton County Humane Society!
