Have fun and support us Oct. 22!

The Clinton County Humane Society will be having a "Howl-oween Fest" on October 22 to raise money to help finance its mission. What is a Howl-oween Fest, you may be asking? It will be an event geared toward families. The Gano family has agreed to let us use part of their farm on Gano Road to hold the activities.
There will be a pet walk through the Miller cemetery located on Gano Road from 3 to 4 p.m. with registration beginning at 2:30 p.m. at 2167 Gano Road. A donation of $25 is requested for the Walk. The first 60 participants to register will receive a T-shirt.
There will be other activities from 4 to 7 p.m., including games and hayrides for children and adults. We will have some awesome Halloween decorations set up. K-9 Karson will be making an appearance from 4 to 5 p.m. There will be prizes for the best costume. There is no admission fee but we will be accepting donations. We will be serving hot dogs, drinks and desserts.
We will need your help to make this event successful. Please consider becoming a sponsor for this event by making a monetary tax deductible donation or donate an item or two for the silent auction. Anything you can help us with would be greatly appreciated. All monetary donations can be sent to us at P.O. Box 1024, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. Please make your check payable to the Clinton County Humane Society and note on your check that it is for the Howl-oween Fest. If you have items to be donated, those can be delivered to Gano Law Offices at 169 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177 prior to October 20th.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LETTING US KNOW THAT SCOUT IS WORKING OUT JUST GREAT. SHE SURE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS HAPPY AND SPOILED ALREADY!

We adopted our sweet little lady, Scout, about 5 weeks ago from Clinton County Humane Society and could not love her more! She is so sweet, smart and fits perfectly in our family. Thank you so much!

SHIRLEY CERTAINLY LOOKS VERY COMFORTABLE AND AT HOME. THANKS FOR GIVING HER A WONDERFUL FAMILY AND HOME.

Wanted to let you know that Curly is now Shirley and is the perfect addition to our family! She has been perfect; we didn't have to relocate any of our food from out of reach, she waits to go outside for the bathroom, and is great on the leash out on trails. She pretty much ignores the cats. One of the cats doesn't mind her at all; the other cat is still adjusting and keeping her distance. Shirley loves to go on runs with me; 3 miles is no problem for her. She loves to curl up on the couch all night to relax. Thanks for helping us out! Megan

NEED NEWSPAPERS!!!

Guess What!  We have more puppies and we need MORE NEWSPAPERS! If you are able to get out, please help us to keep the shelter clean and healthy for our precious animals.  Papers can be left on the front porch or the left side porch.  Thanks to those who are able to help.
