Sparkles likes a little retail therapy

Sparkles (formerly Sarah) was adopted recently, and then it looks as if she did a little shopping, which wore her out.

'He does like to be with someone 24/7'

 Zeke (formerly named Bond) was adopted three weeks ago and has worked really hard to win over his big brother, who was also rescued a couple years ago. Now the two enjoy playing together.

Zeke's family says, "He’s really active but so, so smart. He does like to be with someone 24/7. He hates being alone and he’s very sweet and wants to lay right by you. He’s such a good puppy!"

Roscoe is 'an absolute cuddle monster'

 This gorgeous puppy, named Sawyer at the shelter, was adopted recently by a fantastic family. 

Now named Roscoe, he is loving life and getting along well with his new cat brother. His family says that he is "a great puppy," "is an absolute cuddle monster," and is doing really well with potty training! 

We are so happy for Roscoe and his family!

Reese sometimes thinks she's a goat

This is Reese, who was adopted in November (formerly named Luna). Reese has grown a little taller but has definitely grown longer. Her family says Reese thinks she’s a goat and likes to climb on everything. 😆 She is definitely well loved.

Naima and Ruby were both adopted from CCHS

Naima and Ruby are two lucky dogs who are loved and adored. Naima was adopted first, after waiting far too long in the shelter for someone to be interested in her. Named Ginger at the shelter, Naima was extremely underweight from the stress of being abandoned, but she loved to give hugs to volunteers — and now she gets to hug her family!

Naima's family was open to a second dog later on, and that's when Ruby found her forever home too! She is tall too, and the girls love to keep watch on the neighborhood when they're outside. Ruby is loud and boisterous, so she is fortunate to have landed in a home where they practice patience. We love hearing from our adopters. It always makes the tougher days a little bit easier. ❤️

June was adopted in April

Their generous spirit helps the animals of Clinton County

Ten-year-old twins Austin and Lila save money from their allowance each week to bring to the shelter to help local animals. These fourth-graders and their generous hearts make us so happy!
