The winner of the Clinton County Humane Society’s recent quilt raffle was Angela Earley, pictured with her husband, Jeff, receiving the quilt after the drawing in November. For the shelter fundraiser, Georgann Quallen quilted and donated the 58-by-70-inch Pioneer Sampler, which had been on display at the Cotton Junky in downtown Wilmington. The nonprofit Clinton County Humane Society, located at 1760 Fife Ave., has adopted more than 7,300 animals since it was formed in 2003. The funds raised will help the shelter spay, neuter, and vaccinate the animals in its care.

Catching up with goofy, lovable Olive the Chihuahua
Some pictures of Olive were requested, so here she is being a lovable goof. Since I last emailed you she is doing even better. She now happily walks with the harness and even sits nicely while I put it on her. We went to the vet for a checkup, and everyone there said that she is the nicest chihuahua they've had at their clinic!

Little Maxie has a big life!
It's pretty obvious that Maxie, a miniature pinscher adopted in late October, enjoys her pampered lifestyle.
Her family tells us, "She has been a great addition to our home and we couldn't ask for a more loving and wanted member of the family. She has adjusted well and is right at home. She loves to play, and go for long walks as well as run in the dog park, but mostly she loves to cuddle up to us."
Thank you for adopting from the Clinton County Humane Society!

So handsome and happy!
We love seeing our Eddie in his new home! His new family writes: "Just a quick hello to thank you for connecting our family with this great little terrier! He is doing great. Enjoying lots of love, car rides, chew toys and his big yard."
It's so great to see him be able to rest his little head in a loving home.
His family also tells us, "Keep doing your great work. Hoping people open up there hearts and homes to all these awesome shelter animals needing homes!!!!! Thanks again. We are so glad we found this guy!"
