Here's the whole update on Jewel, whose owners say is now "completely spoiled."
"My daughter changed her name to June Bug. She loves being held, and playing. Sometimes she would rather you pick her up and walk than her actually walking.
"It’s been over a week. We are still introducing our dog to her. They play with each other through the door right now, but still working on letting her and our dog both have free range of the house together. Right now it’s 50/50.
"June sleeps with my daughter and gets up around 5 with me. I let her out of my daughter's room and we have about an hour every morning just playing together before I have to go to work.
"June had been a great blessing for my daughter. My daughter has severe asthma. Animals do not bother her ... but being that she is asthmatic, this virus could easily kill her, being quarantine and learning how to care for June has made these times so much easier for her. June is doing very well, and very spoiled!"

Just looking at a therapy dog feels therapeutic
If you're feeling a little anxious, you might enjoy this awesome update on one of our former shelter pups. 🥰

"I'm not sure if you remember our girl Azzi, (formally known as Madison) She joined our family May 30, 2019.
"Wanted to give you an update: She went from a wild-and-crazy 9-month-old to a very confident girl. She learned all her basic commands and runs the farm off leash. She comes when called, she watches over the chicken and goats. She hangs out in the pasture with the horses and plays with our miniature cows.
"I saw, as well as our trainer, her ability to be calm and loving. We thought we would try to work with her to become a registered therapy dog. After months of working with her, training her, (a week ago) she passed her therapy dog evaluation with flying colors!!!
"We couldn’t love her anymore, she is the girl that sleeps in bed with me, hangs out in the barn with me, I couldn’t imagine our lives without her!!
"I wanted to share what one of the dogs that was placed in your care, until God decided that she needed us and we needed her.
"Congratulations to our girl, Azzi!!"
Thank you for adopting Azzi from the Clinton County Humane Society and helping her reach her full potential!

A lovely walk and a lighthouse view
Maslow and his new sister Phoebe (in the adorable pink puffy coat) enjoyed a walk along the beach where he now lives in Grand Haven, Michigan. Maslow was adopted from us last month. We love seeing all the outdoor activities he gets to do now!
