Earlier this year, our shelter received a small, abandoned dog who was in rough shape.
Thanks to the skill and kindness of one of our volunteers, Vicki, the little dog named Sophie received a makeover. Sophie was adopted shortly after and made herself at home on her new family's farm.The family sent us an updated photo, noting that it was like a Better Homes and Gardens-type photo of a warm home with a dog on the hearth. We certainly agree that Sophie is now right where she belongs and getting the love and attention she has always deserved.
