This is beautiful Scarlett, who now calls Fairfield County home. Scarlett’s owner told us: “She is so sweet. She loves belly rubs and playing with her human children.”
Scarlett is celebrating her first birthday today, Dec. 7, one of 10 purebred Rottweiler pups who had come to the Clinton County Humane Society from a person who had bred them but was then unable to care for them.
Through our shelter’s “Project Abigail,” we were able to take the puppies, get them spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and find loving homes for all of them — as well as spaying/neutering the puppies’ parents so that we could stop the cycle of unwanted litters.
